Science develops within the framework of society, and scientists, being part of it, inevitably bring their beliefs and norms to research. Even the choice of topics, methods and interpretations are subject to this influence.<!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p>Recognizing the impossibility of absolute objectivity opens up space for a more honest interaction between science and society, as well as for a democratic definition of the values \u200b\u200bunderlying scientific research.
